The Van Zandt County town of Ben Wheeler celebrates art and music at its second Far Out Art Fest and JuneBug Music Festival this weekend, organizers announced.
The event will include a free juried art show on view from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
The JuneBug Music Festival will take place on Saturday at The Forge Bistro beginning at 11 a.m.
The lineup includes:
-11 a.m.: Craig Wallace & Guthrie Kennard
- 2 p.m.: The Kid Icarus Project
- 5:30 p.m.: Stephan Cotter & the Rastabillys
- 6 p.m.: Oil Boom
- 8 p.m.: The Damn Quails
- 10 p.m.: Ray Wylie Hubbard;
Tickets to the musical festival cost $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
