East Texas music students, teachers headed to Houston event this weekend

East Texas Music Teachers Association will travel with a group of East Texas youngsters to Houston, Texas this weekend to participate in the Texas Music Teachers Association convention.

This is the 100th year of the convention and the East Texas group will perform on three ensemble levels; elementary, intermediate, and high school. The group will perform along with other ensemble groups from all across the state of Texas.

The students who will be traveling to Houston this year are: Kamal Bains, Simar Bains, Matthew Baril, Bella Boulter, Caleb Bowers, Jessica Carmona, Johanna Carmona, Alison Casper, Emilie Casper, Kaden Cornelison, Kyle Cornelison;
