Robert E. Lee High students will take the stage this weekend for their “USO Show: Vietnam — A Musical Tribute to Vets.” The show will continue through Sunday, June 1.
Veterans and their families submitted photos of their service members who were in the service — any branch — between 1965 and 1975.
Those photos will be used in tributes during the show, including a tribute to those still living and a memorial to those who have died.
The show will feature music and dance from the era.
A portion of all ticket sales will go to benefit Operation Gratitude, a nonprofit organization that sends letters and packages to current soldiers to help lift their spirits.
Performances are scheduled Saturday, May 31, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and then a final performance on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.
