CROCKETT — TV/film star and stand-up comedian Sinbad will present a family-friendly comedy show on Jan. 25 in Crockett.

The show is at 7:30 p.m., Jan. 25 at the Crockett Civic Center by the Piney Woods Fine Arts Association with the aid of KIVY/KMVL, Houston County Courier, County Life and The Messenger and sponsored by The Lilly Family McDonald’s.

Ranked by Comedy Central as one of the top 100 standup comedians of all time, Sinbad arrived on the comedy scene with a “hit’em in the face” style of comedy that has kept audiences laughing in the aisles for more than the past two decades. He freely admits that he doesn’t know any jokes, except for the ones that his dad told him “back in the day.” Sinbad’s comedy is about stories. The basis of his humor comes from everyone he meets, everything he’s seen, and everything he’s done.

Tickets for this show start at $37 and can purchased online atwww.pwfaa.org or by the Piney Woods Fine Arts office at 936-544-4276 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. To stay informed about upcoming PWFAA events, like the PWFAA page on Facebook.
