Mission of the organization

The purpose for the Society is the fostering and promoting of knowledge and appreciation of the decorative and fine arts, including architecture, of the Victorian era in Tyler. The primary focus of the organization is the restoration and operation of the Bonner-Whitaker-McClendon house as an historic museum.

Full Service Flag Campaign by McClendon House (flags for business, residential, and Rose Hill Cemetery);
Docent led tours of the home featuring historic character actors;
House rentals for small weddings, receptions, parties, bridal showers, baby showers, meetings and other events;
Murder Mystery Evenings;
Evenings of Victorian Parlor Games.

Meeting Locations, Dates and Times
Meetings are held at the Gander Mountain lodge meeting room at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month.
