Mission of the organization
A 17-piece orchestra and vocalists provide "big band" style music form the 1940s and 1950s plus other big band arrangements for Two Step, Foxtrot, Waltz, Swing, Jazz, Cha Cha, Rhumba and other Latin dances. The band performs for dances, reunions, wedding receptions, concerts, fund raisers for charitable organizations, patriotic celebrations and public dances sponsored by the band.
Members include players who are dedicated to bring music of the "big band era" to audiences in Tyler and the East Texas area. The band has recorded 5 albums and 2 CD's.
